Ingredients
- 3 cups unsalted mixed nuts, such as almonds, cashews and pecans
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Tikka Twist Signature Blend, Mild or Hot
Contains: Soy, Wheat.
Using the blend
2 teaspoons
Whisk the blend into the warm honey butter off the heat and toss the toasted nuts in it. Roasting the blend on the nuts would scorch it before they were done.
Method
- 01
Toast the nuts. Heat the oven to 325°F. Spread the nuts on a rimmed sheet pan and toast 10 to 14 minutes, stirring once, until fragrant and a shade darker. Watch the pecans, which brown first.
- 02
Make the honey butter. While they toast, melt the butter with the honey in a small pan over low heat. Take it off the heat and whisk in the 2 teaspoons of Tikka Twist.
- 03
Toss and coat. Tip the hot nuts into a bowl, pour the honey butter over and toss until every nut is glossy.
- 04
Cool and serve. Spread them on parchment to cool for 10 minutes, then serve. The coating stays a little tacky, which is how it clings. Store airtight and eat within 3 days.
